IOM Moldova (IOM) was invited to participate in “Europe Day 2010,” a celebration put on by the European Commission (EC) to the Republic of Moldova, showcasing over 40 different ongoing projects in Moldova financed by the EC. 

IOM had the opportunity to highlight two ongoing multiyear projects: “Supporting the Implementation of the Migration and Development Component of the EU-Moldova Mobility Partnership,” and “Technical Cooperation and Capacity Building for the Governments of Ukraine and Moldova for the Implementation of Readmission Agreements with the European Union (GUMIRA).”

As one of the aims of each of the highlighted projects is to inform the public on the information and assistance that is available to them, their relatives or people they know, this day provided IOM with a great opportunity to disseminate material to all different ages and backgrounds giving them the opportunity to become better informed.
